Does Apple MagSafe Battery Pack charge iPhone 8 plus

The MagSafe Battery Pack works with the ‌iPhone 12 and iPhone 13 models.. It will charge other devices like the iPhone 8 lineup and the ‌AirPods‌ because it's just Qi-based wireless charging, but only the ‌iPhone 12 and iPhone 13‌ models have magnets to keep the MagSafe Battery Pack in place. iOS 14.7 or later is required.

I recommend that you DO NOT purchase the MagSafe Battery pack for your iPhone 8 Plus because it beats the whole purpose of using a mobile wireless battery pack. It will not attach/stick/adhere to your iPhone 8 Plus and that is its best feature. At $99 USD, it will be an expensive battery pack for your iPhone 8 Plus with less than half the total benefit.
