Mac Mail - Move Messages to Folders w/ Keyboard

Is there a way to move messages in Mac Mail from an inbox to folders that are located within folders using the keyboard?

Currently, I move messages from an inbox to a folder by right-clicking the message, scrolling down to "Move to" and then typing the name of the folder. It seems as though it only recognizes the first level of folders.

How would I accomplish this if I wanted to move a message from my inbox to Folder B, which is inside Folder A?

Inbox > Folder A > Folder B

Thanks!

Might try Karabiner...

You can also easily make custom keyboards with...

Thanks to Old Toad…

You can do what you want with Keyboard Maestro and a whole lot more .

But perhaps you could use Smart Folders?

Thanks for these suggestions. A Smart Folder won't work because I want to evaluate the email before I move it. The others seem a little overkill.

What about a keyboard shortcut?

When I create a keyboard shortcut specific to Mail and "Move to", it doesn't present the window with all my folder options (you have to hit the right arrow to see the window). It just triggers "Move to", which does nothing.

Any insight here?
