OUT OF MEDIA STORAGE

I have an Apple Watch 6 and an iPhone 6s (both updated to the last version). I tried to download a podcast to my watch and an out of media storage appeared. I know there is a 8gb limitation for music - podcasts - photos, but I have been using only 3gb for music and podcasts.

I have reset both devices But didn't work. the message appeared right today right after I updated the devices.

To Free-Up Storage

For songs, see:

Remove music from Apple Watch - Apple Support

and for pictures, see the "Limit photo storage on Apple Watch section in:

Choose a photo album and manage storage on Apple Watch - Apple Support

To delete apps on your watch, see:

Delete apps from your Apple Watch - Apple Support

Also, try unpairing and pairing your watch again and restoring from the backup just created in the unpairing process. This deletes all temp and corrupted files and re-indexes the file system. This should result in no loss of data and in some cases can free a lot of storage.

Thank u for the reply but as I said I only use 3gb for multimedia purposes -podcasts - music - photos - so I don’t understand why I have to erase anything -the limitation for media is 8gb-. Since I have 5gb additional space for multimedia, I think the message has to do with the last update (I tried to unpair and pair but the same message appeared )
