Can I trade my Apple Watch series 6 if the screen is broken?

Hello,

i bought an Apple Watch series 6 aluminum blue 40mm and the screen broke but it’s working fine and the watch is still under its warranty because it was produced in December 2020 I don’t know if I can trade it for a series 7 or get it repaired under its warranty.

Apple doesn't accept damaged devices in trade. Apple doesn't replace Apple Watch screens, instead, they offer out of warranty devices, which depending on the Apple Watch 5 model you own could range in cost from $299 - $800.

It likely would cost you more to get an out of warranty replacement than the trade value of the watch, I'm afraid.

If you purchased a valid AppleCare+ plan when you bought the watch and the plan is still in effect, the out of warranty cost would be significantly reduced to $69.
