Hello !
I just did a backup of my iphone X 64gb and the total volume of the back is 72gb... so I can't restore the backup it says not enough space blablabla
I did the processus with a new itunes installation, I did the backup, I did reset the iphone and finally tried to do the restore.
Everything is up to date (iphone and itunes) and I am completely loss
Pls SeND HalP!
The only way you can gain space on the phone is to delete photos, messages, apps, etc.. Be sure to restart after each deletion and save important photos and data to your computer or an external drive. This link may help...

I don't know what else to suggest 64 GB can fill up in a hurry.
thing is the iphone is factory reset so nothing except the factory data :'(
tried but nop :(
thats a very sad bug, I thought apple ios was easier/simpler than android but thats a very big concern
