why apple not support remote sim access profile (rsap)

Hello everybody

Actually I'm apple fan and have iPhone since iPhone 4 recently I purchased VW car but I was shocked that my iPhone X could not be connected to the car through Bluetooth, as it supports communication via rsap. In fact, I do not understand why a giant company like Apple does not support this feature, which is used in most luxury cars like Porsche, Audi...etc

Greetings Moh1979,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities! We can see you've been using Bluetooth profiles that iOS and iPadOS support, and you have a question on how to connect your iPhone X to your Volkswagen.

Let's see if the steps included in this guide will help: How to connect your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch to your car. There are a few different ways to connect your iPhone and it can depend on the model of your car, to see what is best available. Some manufacturers even offer an app to help too.

We would suggest checking the website for Volkswagen. They might have the resource you'll need along with a tutorial or a link to update the firmware on your car. If the Apple Bluetooth profile is not available in their line, it might be best to work with them and give them this feedback to satisfy their users.

If you'd like to leave feedback to Apple, use this link: Product Feedback - Apple.

We hope this helped.
