Can I registre my AirPods to Find My after I lost them?

Hello, I have lost one of my AirPods but I don't seem to find them registered in my iCloud Find My...Is it possible to register them to a new Apple ID and to locate the one that is missing ? What do you suggest? Thank You!!

Returning lost airpods I found a set of 1st generation AirPods. What can I do to get them back to the owner? Am I right in saying Find My only works with AirPods if they are connected to the users registered device? Can Apple use the serial number to identify which account is connected to these and return them that way?

My AirPods are not in my Find My, and they’re lost. I do not know my serial number and I do not know how to locate them. How to find my AirPods if they’re not in my Find My app, and I do not have them on me.

that wouldn’t be possible. You need to find them the old-fashioned way. Or, replace the missing airpod https://support.apple.com/airpods/repair/service
