macbook pro was loaned to an employee and now is locked.

I own a macbook pro that was loaned to an employee. That person is now gone and I cannot gain access to the laptop. I tried restoring to factor defaults and it is asking for a user name and password that is not responding to my credentials. How can a restore this unit to factory new defaults?

Restore 2015 Macbook Air without Apple ID Howdy. I bought a 2015 Macbook Air on OfferUp very cheap because the young girl did not remember the computer password AND did not know the Apple ID or password associated with it. It was a gift. I got very little information. I do know it was NOT stolen. Very nice house, etc:) How would I restore to factory settings? There are so many conflicting instructions online. Am I out of luck and using this for parts? Would it help to call Apple and explain? Thanks guys!

Wiping an employees laptop but can't access due to Apple ID being connected One of my employees gave me their laptop and we wiped it using startup options. I was trying to reopen it to make sure everything worked, but it says that i need to use the last appleID to get permission to reinstall MacOS. The former employee does not want to give me their ID/Password as they use the same logins for everything. Is there a way to get into the laptop around the appleID?
