Suddenly MacOS Logging Me Off - After Update to 11.6

It may be a coincidence, but within the last week, I've noticed that when I come back to my Mackbook Pro, that it has logged me out. I never shut down, log off, I always just lock the screen and walk away. But rough timing is after the most recent update, it seems if I lock the screen and come back within a short amount of time, I can still unlock (password or biometrics). However, say I don't come back until the next day, I come back and the laptop is 'asleep', but a quick press and it's awake, but right away, I noticed my desktop background has changed to one of the Apple backgrounds, and sure enough, it's asking me which account I want to sign into (I have mine, and one for my spouse). Then I log in, and all the windows try to re-open, and then I have to re-sign into all the high security apps, sites, VPN's, etc. I never had to do this before. Anyone else have this issue?

I have a Mackbook Pro 13" 2018, on Big Sur Version 11.6.

Go to System Preferences->Security & Privacy->General.

Click the padlock, authenticate, then click "Advanced".

Make sure that "Log out after xx minutes of inactivity" is NOT checked.
