I recently bought a MacBook Pro. If I don't use the computer for just a few minutes, it goes back to the original sign in screen. I never had this happen with any of my Macs before.
Energy saver is set to 1/2 hour.

Hi, I use hot corners on my iMac but I'm not sure how that would help in this circumstance. It's about not using the machine and after a time it completely shuts down. It was set to 2 minutes; I changed it to 15 and it seems to have fixed the issue.

thanks. that seemed to work. it was set to sleep after two minutes. i changed it to 15 and it hasn't shut down completely since.
