Big Sur camera

Hi,

My camera has stopped working completely on every app after downloading the latest version of Big Sur 11.6.

Has anyone managed to resolve this issue?

Web Camera freezes on photo booth after Big Sur update. I like recording vlogs on photo booths, but recently it's been difficult as my web cam turns on and off every 30 seconds or so. The camera only turns off for a second, but it's really frustrating as when watching the video, it's full of hiccups and delays. The audio in the video is fine. Any solution to this problem.

Built-in camera not working on MacOS Monterey 12.1 My camera is not working on any app (zoom, photo booth, facetime).... The little green light lights up when i open an app that is supposed to use my camera, but nothing appears on the screen, it is just black. A few seconds after I have opened my camera, the light turns off and the screen stays black. Any idea what to do? My software is updated, I have restarted my mac many times but nothing seems to be working. My apps like zoom are also up to date.

after big sur upgrade to 11.5.2, logitech 720p camera is not working Just upgraded and now my logitech camera (connected by USB) is not working in zoom, facetime or photo booth. Just see a blank white screen when video is on. checked security and privacy and camera is turned on. Macbook air camera does work. What else can I try? thanks

Does the camera still appear correctly in System Information? Hold down option key and from the Apple menu choose System Information, then click on Camera.

Post a screenshot.

Try resetting NVRAM.

Also, try restarting in Safe Mode, and then normally again.

If the problem persists, Please run Etrecheck and post its full report here. Use the "additional text" button and paste the report into the text box.
