Updating to Mojave

Should I back up my MacBook Pro (now running El Capitan) before updating to Mojave? I use Backblaze but am currently only backed up there to end of Sept. 2021.

How would I back up my computer to the Cloud?

Thank you!

Always good to have a current backup. Sept2021 is not so old and may be good enough for you... except anything between then and now would be lost.

We never expect an issue...If you are bold sure go for it. Having a backup is the only way to fall back successfully if something goes side ways.

3-2-1 Backup Strategy: three copies of your data, two different methods, and one offsite.
