Does LibreOffice 7.2 run on an M1-chip Mac? I installed it on my M1 MacBook Pro, but it has repeatedly crashed.

With 7.2.3, native M1-binaries are ready to download, I am currently using it on my M1-MBA and it works seamlessly!

As of 12/25/21 the LibreOffice official site states that the "native" non-Rosetta version available for download from the Document Foundation is for "testing" only - not ready for release.
"The Document Foundation provides builds for Apple Silicon in a <ver>/mac/aarch64/ subdirectory at https://download.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/stable/ for testing" [Bold accent mine]
It may run seamlessly for some or most but it is a beta and thus subject to issues.
One can download a binary for 7.4.2 but it uses Rosetta.

A native version is being developed.

Thanks for the update - as for myself, I am running 7.2.4 here without problems but it's strange that they refer to this version as stable in the other, official downloads anyway: https://download.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/stable/7.2.4/mac/aarch64/
Who knows... Happy holidays!
Thanks... same to you. Glad to know that it is running stable for you. It appears that the two main apps, Calc and Writer, are pretty stable but the others no so much. In due time all will be... 👍
They say it does:

If you are having issues with the new version, you'll need to use LibreOffice support. They need to know if the new version is not playing well with M1 Macs.
Before contacting LibreOffice support, make sure you are not running any third-part anti-virus or cleaning apps. They cause more problems than they fix.
