IOS on an iPad pro

I would like to change the registration on my wife's iPad pro to myself but retain all apps and data as is. Are there instructions to perform this procedure. Thank you for any ideas.

This has never been possible.

All apps and data are linked to the Apple ID they were purchased with.

Apps, subscriptions, and related do not transfer. User data can be mostly transferred.

Using Family Sharing can allow other members to access to access purchases and subscriptions.
