why does my watch have the wrong time?

i looked at my watch today and it was an hour fast. what happened?

i put it on the charger for a minute and it came back to the correct time.

i had not checked time much today but did use timer several times.

what happened to cause my watch to have the wrong time and why did it happen?

Which watch face were you using? Some of the faces used to have the ability to advance the time by spinning the Digital Crown. For example (distant memory) you could scroll through your daily calendar or advance the Solar Graph display (this still works, I just tried it and the advance time now times out after a few seconds). Could this be what you were seeing?


Or do you live near a time zone boundary and your device might have briefly picked up the time from a cellular mast "over the line"?
