Why can’t I connect to my F-150 using car play?

Can’t connect to Ford Sync anymore I used to be able to connect via Bluetooth to my 2012 Ford. I was also able to plug into the Sync system to play music. However after a few updates from Apple, I can no longer use the blue or the Sync function. Ver frustrating! Any suggestions?
