I put my Mac in lost mode and can’t remember the password for it. I’ve tried unlocking it through iCloud but for some reason the unlock button does not show up when I click on my Mac in the device list. Is there any way to unlock my Mac.
I understand that can be done at an Apple store if you have proof of ownership, i.e. your purchase receipt showing the unit's serial number and some ID to prove who you are matches the receipt.
