Error 29 iPhone 4s

I needed to do a battery swap on my Iphone4s now I'm learning I may need to have that old battery for some security reasons I'm trying to update the software on my iPhone 4s to either the newest firmware or 7.06 have dmg for both but I threw the battery out in my neighbor's trash and I think he knows!

Please Help
