iPhone 12 Pro Max calling wrong number

This is a first for me. I just got an iPhone 12 Pro Max yesterday to replace my original (which isn’t as water resistant as they want you to believe, but that’s for another thread). I went to dial a saved number in my favorites from my contact list, and lo and behold it called a different number. I thought it was weird last night when it happened the first time, cause the person I dialed has a custom voice mail, and when it picked up. It was the generic one. So I texted this person, who has an iPhone too; and it sent as green. Meaning it didn’t iMessage. Confused, I called someone else and asked them to call the first person. They did, and immediately the original person called me back. Their normal ID came up like usual. I just chalked it up to some weird glitch.

Fast forward to just now. It’s 11:30pm and I was calling that same favorite contact, who is in Colorado at the moment. So it’s only 9:30pm there. Someone who is NOT her picks up, and I could tell I woke this stranger up. ONCE AGAIN it dialed the wrong number! I apologized to the person I woke up, and immediately came here to see if anyone else is having this issue. For what it worth I just updated to 15.02 software. Anyone out there know what’s up? I’m now afraid to make any calls cause I don’t know who will actually get them!
