Since I updated to iOS 15, I don’t have any way to be able to use quick reply like I’ve done for YEARS. I’ve troubleshooted over and over again. I’ve made sure all of my settings are set correctly; and that should allow me to reply on my Lock Screen instead of having to actually open up messages to reply back. I think it’s a glitch. I’ve done everything possible! Please, help anyone.. if you know how to help, let me know. I’d be forever grateful! Thank you so much!

Are you not getting any response at all, if you hold your finger on the message, rather than quickly tap it?
If not, try changing the touch duration from Settings > Accessibility > Touch > Haptic Touch. You can also test the Haptic Touch on that screen. After testing with the image on that screen, use the same gesture on a Messages notification to see whether there's any change.

If the behavior persists, contact Apple Support.

We understand you want to be able to respond to message from your iPhone's Lock Screen.
You can do this by touching and holding on the notification for the message that you see on the Lock Screen, or swiping left or right on the notification to reveal the "View" option.

Thank you for the information. I do not have the option to do that anymore since I updated to iOS 15. It use to work but now since the update, I can only reply in my messages app. When I swipe left, this is what it shows. Here’s 2 examples of what it shows me.

Thanks so much. But, No, there is no change at all…. I don’t know what else to do at this point.
Apple mentioned at one point to reinstall the iOS 15 software, but I have no idea how to do that… Any ideas?
