2012 Mac Mini OS 10.13.6 after sleep and woke display reverts to 80/80 when set to 1080
what a pain just to ask a question, nothing like the old days.
figure will be really lucky if I'm able to ever read a answer.
time have changed while living in the past!

What does fix it is to set the Display prefer to "Default for display"
Seems to also fix a few other problems.
Must be working towards the Display Preference to disappear in future OS, I would guess.
Must be those MS workers hired years back :-)

Disable sleep, it’ll fix it. Check “Prevent…” in Energy Preferences.
