I have used Dish as my TV Provider for over a year. Suddenly I can't authenticate with the user name and password I know to be valid. I get "Sign In Error - Invalid User Name or Password. Please Try Again." error.

Has anyone run into this same error recently? Dish customer service hardly understood what an Apple Tv 4K is. Does Dish no longer support single sign-on? This all arose when I tried to refresh credentials for CNNgo App. The stream was locked to 10 minute preview so I tried using settings to sign in with my TV Provider. That resulted in the same error. I restarted the AppleTv 4K. Still a no go. I tried signing out of the TV Provider and that locked me out from using Dish as my TV Provider. Thanks in advance for your help.

I was on 14.7 or 14.8 yesterday when this happened to me. I upgraded to 15.0 and it did not fix the problem. I contacted Dish and they said they could do nothing since my account with them works everywhere else and that I needed to contact Apple. Apple doesn’t seem to be aware that it is an issue.

Looks like something was fixed on the backend. I was able to log in no problem today. Hope everyone else was able to as well.

Unplugging did not resolve the problem form me. I get the same error even if I try to use the credentials for a single app instead of using TV Provider single sign on. I get the same behavior on my iPhone 11 pro running iOS 14.8. I logged out and cannot log back in for Dish as TV Provider.

I have this exact same issue. I have restarted all my appleTVs and iPads with no prevail. This seems to be an iOS 15 issue.

To see if it is your Apple TV please unplug it from power for 2-3 minutes then re-connect the power and retest. If you still have a problem please contact DISH.

Sam issue as above. Started after recent apple tv update to ios 15. And yes I have unplugged the apple tv for 2 - 3 minutes and tried again. Same issue and error.
