No such thing as iTunes 15. The current version of iTunes is 12.12 for Windows 7, 8 and 10

Link-> Download and use iTunes for Windows - Apple Support

If you connect the iPhone to your computer, it should prompt for a small iTunes update for iOS 15. Just accept the update.

Contact Apple Support, then. Use the Get Support link in the upper right of this webpage. They are best positioned to know about issues with iTunes for Windows, or to escalate issues found, and this seems broken.

Phil024: Windows 7 dropped off the list of downloads.

iTunes for Windows 11 seemingly also hasn’t yet arrived. I’d see if the iTunes for Windows 10 download works for Windows 11.

You are correct Mr. Hoffman. Windows 7 no longer supported by anybody. And I was mistaken before, the current version of iTunes for Windows 8 is not 12.12, but 12.10.11.2.

  • iTunes 12.10.11.2 for Windows (32-bit) - iTunesSetup.exe (2021-04-22) Last(?) build to support Windows 7 & 8
  • iTunes 12.10.11.2 for Windows (64-bit) - iTunes64Setup.exe (2021-04-22) Last(?) build to support Windows 7 & 8

I’m not sure if it still supports iOS 15 however.

Also, Windows 8 stopped being supported by MS a while ago, and 8.1 will stop being supported in 2023.

It may be easier to simply update to Windows 10.

I run windows 8 for a reason. It should work out of gate otherwise should be clearly stated this will not work. Would have saved a needless purchase and return. Weird when i plug in my old iphone 7 it will download the latest firmware 15. When i plug in the new iphone 13 it tells me to upgrade itunes. So itunes on windows 8 supports ios15 just not on iphone 13.

This is likely a problem with iTunes on Windows 8 (or something else installed on Windows 8 getting involved), and not with the iPhone. Contact Apple Support. They may well have a workaround.
