What App did you delete? For most third party apps and many Apple Apps you can simply re-download it from the App Store it it was completely removed from the device.

If the entry in the App Store shows an “Open” button rather than a cloud icon, to download, then the app was not actually deleted, but simply moved to the App Library and can be moved back to a Home Screen from there.
