My macbook's backlight is out so I can't see anything on my screen. It's connected to an external monitor right now. My question: how do i go about updating to big sur? When my mac restarts it doesn't connect automatically to my external monitor but only if/when I enter a password. So basically, if a prompt comes up on my mac, after I've downloaded big sur and it restarts on me, I can't see what it says.
