  1. There are no drivers for macOS, nor are they needed like in Windoz.
  2. HDMI from the Mac Mini is limited to 4K and has fewer resolution options.

Your best bet is to use two connections with that display.

A USB-C to DisplayPort cable for the Video, because DP supports odd sized and wide display resolutions.

Plus a USB-C to USB-C cable if you want to use the Displays USB Docking Station.
