The identity of the backup disk “MBA Backup” has changed since the previous backup.

My Time Machine disk was about to execute its next routine backup when this dialog appeared and below the text was the following explanation:

The disk may have been replaced or erased, or someone may be trying to trick your computer into backing up to the wrong disk.

Two buttons on the dialog gave me the choice to use the disk or not backup. On looking at the drop-down from the Time Machine icon in the Menu Bar it said, waiting to begin first backup exactly as if I was beginning to use a new TM disk for the first time.

What can be done about this?

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 10.15
