iOS 15 and Instagram view

Hi All,

I recently updated my iPad to iOS 15.0.2 . This might seem minor to some but it's kind of a big deal to me.

I scroll through my Instagram feed many times throughout the day on my iPad 5th generation.

Before I updated to iOS 15, when I opened my Instagram app ( i keep landscape view locked ) it would

open in portrait mode by default, which is what I want. I keep landscape view locked because I don't want the views flip flopping back and forth as I'm holding my iPad. Now with the new iOS, Instagram opens in the center of landscape view instead of defaulting to portrait view. Is there any way to override this and force Instagram to open in portrait view like it used to with iOS 14?
