I am unable to connect my Beats Flex to my MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Early 2013) macOS Catalina 10.15.7. I have had them connected to my iPhone XR for a while and they work great usually, but nothing I do seems to get them to connect to my MacBook. I have tried following all the advice about disconnecting from other devices etc. but it doesn't seem to be helping at all.
I noticed that the Beats were still trying to connect to my iPhone even whilst the Bluetooth was disabled. I presume this means that they also try to use WiFi to connect. I finally managed to get them to connect to my MacBook Pro by forgetting the Beats connection on all of my devices, disabling bluetooth and WiFi on all iPhones, and then resetting the Beats Flex before reconnecting the Bluetooth on my MacBook Pro. I noticed that the option for "Automatic Ear Detection" was enabled so I tried turning that off but it actually seemed to screw everything up and I had to start the process all over again.
