M1 Mac mini - Multiple Displays

Can a second Thunderbolt display be connected to the HDMI port using an adapter? If so, what do I need?

I have the adapter to connect one of the monitors to the Thunderbolt 3 port on the Mini, but is there any way to ALSO connect the other display so I have two displays running? Regarding a Mac mini and two Thunderbolt displays I have a 2020 Mac mini with the M1 chip and two Apple Thunderbolt displays, each with a dedicated Thunderbolt 1 cable (male). Can I connect the two displays to the Mac mini using the two USB-C ports if I have the Thunderbolt adapters or it is necessary to utilize HDMI port to connect to the second display? Can they be daisy chained as an option?

Thanks. I thought as much. I’ll either need to wait for the next version Apple Silicon or reluctantly retire my Apple Thunderbolt displays.
