The return period is 14 days. If it's been less that 14 days, and you purchased them directly from Apple, you can return them for a refund. After that, they're yours. Apple does not currently take the iPhone 13, mini, pro, or pro max in trade.
No. You can't.
You can sell the phone your have and use the money to buy whatever you want, but you can't trade it in to Apple for any kind of discount.
