I always used my VPN (VPN Proxy Master) and now it asks me to "Please enter your authentication information." What does this mean? Where do I find the authentication information?

Here's some food for thought: unless you're using a true VPN tunnel, such as between you and your employer's, school's or bank's servers, they are useless from a privacy standpoint.  Read these two articles: Public VPN's are anything but private and Former Malware Distributor Kape Technologies Now Owns ExpressVPN, CyberGhost, Private Internet Access, Zenmate, and a Collection of VPN “Review” Websites

That being said one of the most respected contributors to these forums and a respected developer has reported favorably about NordVPN.  So it may be more secure than most of the other public VPNs.

But, if you're not ordered to use it by someone I wouldn't use one.

Hello there Kye05,

Thanks for posting here on the Apple Support Communities! This is a place where other Apple users can submit questions or respond to others to help lend a hand. Let's take a closer look as we do our best to provide some additional insight.

We see you're getting a pop up in this application asking for a passcode. Since this isn't a macOS prompt, it looks like the password would be specific to this application. With that in mind, your best bet may be to contact the support for this specific application: VPN Proxy Master - Contact Us

We hope this helps get you pointed in the right direction.

Take care.
