I have a Mac for the first time and have installed Outlook and cannot add my iCloud account.How can I do this? Do I need to uncheck mail etc first and then add my account to Outlook using my iCloud password?

Thank you for participating in the Apple Support Communities! It sounds like you're unable to add your iCloud account in the Outlook app on your Mac, is that correct? If so, you would need to generate and use an app-specific password to sign in to your account, since this is a third-party app.
