Is it just me or anyone else saw the same thing? I have an iPad pro with 256GB storage and had the lastest version of iPad OS (15.0.2) installed. Today, I found the following information on the About screen. Capacity = 256GB and Available = 316.66GB. How could this be possible?

Your iPad shows the iPadOS is 15.0.2. You will need to upgrade it to version 15.1. The issue was fixed on my once I upgraded the OS. Hope it solves this issue for you.

There is a known bug with iOS/iPadOS 15 that causes mis-reporting of total capacity and used storage. Hopefully this issue will be fixed in a future update; for now, there is no workaround.
