What's the difference between Apple's new USB-C to Lightning cable to the older one? Only the 1m is marked as new

The 2m Length. Previously it was only available in a length of 1m.

Otherwise it's exactly the same as the old one.

But on the website only the 1m is as new, the 2m does not have the newer tag

True, that’s weird. Its likely nothing really relevant though. The entry has no details about why its new.
