iPhone 13 locked (?)

My brand new iPhone 13 arrived today. When it asked to put an apple id i put the one from my iPad, but unfortunately i kept typing the wrong password. Now i don’t know if my iPhone is locked or not but I can’t do anything with it. (I never owned an iPhone, the only apple product that I own is my iPad)
