I've tried enabling on iCloud and updated iOS too. pls help

This is all predicated on Both device are using the Same Apple ID and are logged in.

On the iPhone >> Settings >> Messages >> look for Text Forwarding and make sure the computer is listed and enabled to receive forwarded messages.
