unable to restore devices through itunes windows 7

i have windows 7 , have latest version of itunes 12.10.11 , unable to restore device , " error message to restore pls install latest version of itunes " which i already have ??? is this a glitch what shall i do

Ipod Classic Will Not Sync with iTunes My iPod Classic will no longer sync with iTunes on my Windows 10 PC. I am running the latest iTunes software version and using the correct iPod drivers. The settings show that the iPod is full of "other" content, leaving no room for anything else. I read this happens when the drive has become corrupted and needs to be restored. However, when I try doing just that, I receive a 1439 error message saying that my iPod cannot be restored. I've also tried pressing the center button and Menu button simultaneously, but that hasn't worked either. Is there any fix for all this, or is my iPod shot?

There are more recent versions of iTunes, but I regret to inform you that they only support Windows 10 and 11.
