How to turn off notification when Airpods is nearby (duplicate but not resolving my issue)?

I'm using my Airpods pro on my iPhone and working on my work on my MBP (2015, 16') but the Airpods nearby notification keeps prompting endlessly and no matter how many times I close it or ignore it, it still keeps prompting, and it's getting annoying and distracting. Is this a built-in feature and we're not able to turn it off?
