I have a 13inch mid2012 MacBook Pro and the power cord has frayed and quit working for the second time. What cord should I replace it with?
MacBook Pro 13″, OS X 10.10
If it is the small-diameter cord with magnetic connector that goes from the power brick to the computer, get an original. Apple does not sell that specific charger any more but I recently bought a "new old-stock" charger for my 2012 MBP13 here:

If it is the larger 2m/6foot A/C cord that goes from the charger to the wall, it is the same cord used with newer Macs:
