Locating and transfering files

Hi would anyone be able to tell me how to transfer song files from an SD card to my ITunes library on my laptop computer,thankyou Alex.

The easiest way might be to copy the files from the SD card into the Automatically Add to iTunes folder inside your iTunes Media folder. See Import media from a computer to iTunes on PC - Apple Support for more.
