Custom domain icloud not working

I want to use a custom domain in ICloud.

More then 24 hours ago I submitted the DNS records that were provided by Apple. But in the last step I keep getting the message 'Check your MX records'.

Some days ago I already did the same thing with another domainname and that worked very well! But now it doesn't.

I am really sure the records are ok! I did DNS lookups and everything looks fine.

What could go wrong?

setting up a custom domain Hi. I'm trying to add a new custom domain, having already created one successfully in the past. This time, iCloud settings detects that my domain is hosted by IONOS and so doesn't provide me with DNS settings, instead prompting me to login to IONOS. When I login to IONOS I get an error 500. I try the same process with a GoDaddy domain and it works. I know that if I can get the DNS settings (and specifically the 'personal TXT record provide by Apple') I will be able to complete the setup. There doesn't seem to be any way to get it though. Has anyone experienced similar? Is there a way to get the TXT record, or to avoid the 500 error? Thanks.

iCloud+ Custom Domain registration (CNAME error) Not able to add a CNAME record on my DNS configuration. There is a field validation that doesn't allow the "_" character (on sig1._domainkey) and another one that complains about the final "." at the end of sig1.dkim.[example.com].at.icloudmailadmin.com. Not sure if I'm doing something wrong (probably).. anyone with the same issue?

I contacted Apple Support. They also could not fix it for me. The escalated this to the engineers. Now I'm waiting for their response.
