How do I unlock the carrier lock for my iPhone 6s?

how do I get a carrier lock for my Iphone 6s I bought? When I insert my sim card is says the sim card is not supported under an activation policy currently assigned by activation server. Request this Iphone to be unlocked by your carrier.

It is carrier locked, not activation locked.

Contact the carrier it is locked to. They are the only ones who can unlock it.
