IPhone Trade-in Status is not updating

I traded in 2 iPhone XS Max for new iPhone 13 Pro Max. Both iPhone XS were returned via the UPS boxes that Apple/AT&T provided. The status for one device indicates that it was processed successfully. The other one states that the device was received and is being inspected. That was almost 2 weeks ago. Why would one be processed but not the other? Both devices were returned at the same time and in near-mint condition and blemish-free.

Update: I called Apple And inquired as to why the status of my trade-in was not updating. After 3 advisors and several minutes of being placed on hold, my call was dropped. I received a text survey for my experience. I responded that I was not satisfied with how my call was handled and that my issue was not resolved . This morning, I received an email that my trade-in was successfully processed . I’m guessing that with thousands of phones being traded in, my device was received and somehow got buried. My call prompted them to check and process my trade-in. Who knows? Regardless, I’m just glad that it’s done and I got full credit for both my trade-ins.

Your use of “Apple/AT&T” is confusing. Here’s why.

You claim to have traded in 2 iPhones and purchased one. Apple does not accept more than one iPhone in trade. (Perhaps AT&T does.) So if you did this transaction with Apple, they would accept one iPhone in trade and offer you an Apple Gift Card for the other. Perhaps that’s what happened.
