iPhone 7 boot loop after battery change

I have an old iPhone 7 that’s been in a draw for a few years as the battery was discharging very quickly- I bought a replacement battery to fit but never got round to it so it’s also been sat in the draw for a few years. Just changed the battery and now it’s stuck in a boot loop- black screen to white screen with black apple and back to black.

Trouble is there are photos on the phone that I need to backup so I don’t really want to go into DFU mode (if that will even work) and wipe it.

Any ideas on what I could try? Would a new replacement battery which should have charge to begin with get it out of boot loop?

iPhone 7, iOS 14

Hi ___—-___,

It looks like you're having issues with your iPhone. If that's correct, check out the following resource.

If your iPhone won't turn on or is frozen

You can certainly try getting your iPhone serviced, but there is no guarantee that you would be able to backup the data at this point.

Cheers.
