Keyboard Lights Not Working on my Mac Book Pro (13 inch, 2018, Four Thunderbolt 3 Ports)

Hi There!


I have updated my Mac Book Pro (13 inch, 2018, Four Thunderbolt 3 Ports) to the latest version

iOS macOS Big Sur Version 11..6.

My keyboard backlights are not working and I have tried rebooting and going through all the settings but no use. I even searched on google for solution but no help.

Luckily my work laptop is MacBook too, when I compared the settings I found that I don't see

"Adjust keyboard brightness in low light" &

"Turn keyboard backlight off after "



Does anyone facing this Issue.

Any help will be appreciated.

It sounds like you are missing the settings from this resource: Turn your Mac keyboard's backlighting on or off


If you haven't tried this in your troubleshooting steps so far, reset the SMC and test again: How to reset the SMC of your Mac
