An App wants access to control "Safari"

Hello,

I keep on getting this Pop-Up on my Safari Browser “7442423297668042207” wants access to control “Safari”. Allowing control will provide access to documents and data in “Safari”, and to perform actions within that app. I have attached the Etrecheck Report below. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 11.6

Of what I see installed here and for various reasons, I’d…

Remove CleanMyMac.

Remove the Torrent app.

Remove the VPN app.

Remove Honeygain.

Remove Searchup.

Remove mulkeyd.

Remove the rest of the adware apparently installed here, too.

Any apps loaded from torrents are suspect. More than a few cracked apps can also crack the downloaders’ own security.

Whether and how much private data has been uploaded is unclear, but security on this Mac looks compromised.

Given what I see here, erase it all and re-install. Maybe migrate over docs and files, but not apps.

I’d also change all passwords.

Somebody might suggest MalwareBytes and that might work here. But given what is apparently installed on this Mac, I’d wonder what else might still be broken, or might be corrupted. And what might already have been uploaded is unclear.

Back up, erase, reinstall, migrate over only your files and docs and not your apps.

Back up your Mac with Time Machine - Apple Support

Erase and reinstall macOS - Apple Support

Move your content to a new Mac - Apple Support

From that last link, do not migrate your applications. You’ll need to re-load those individually, and just the ones you need.

I’d not reload any add-on cleaners, VPNs, torrents, anti-malware, or other related, no cracked apps, and probably best restricting to those apps loaded only from the app store.

Judging from the quick search on the ASC Forums - CleanMyMac has at least 600 posting all pointing to the same issue with this Application - Remove it as per Developers Instruction.

The issues presented on this computer may be as a Direct result of what damages and / or corruptions to the OS this Garbage Software has inflicted on the OS.
