Frames around app areas on iPad with iPadOS 15 (also before) do not go away.

Frames keep popping up in Apps on the iPad. They do not go away, even if in the "Settings > Accessibility > Voice Over" is disabled. Reboot, update to iPadOS 15 didn't help either. Searched everywhere, but couldn't find a solution.

Hi nicolai258,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. We understand that you have frames around apps on your iPad and we'd like to help.

It appears that you have Switch Control enabled. See if you can turn it off under Settings > Accessibility > Switch Control.

This resource might help: Use Switch Control to navigate your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

We hope this helps.

Cheers!

Thanks for your help. Unfortunately, that wasn't the solution. The frame looks different when I turn on Switch control. They are round at the top - and in my case they have sharp corners.

Here is another example how the frames look like. There is also a separate frame within the frame as you can see.

Any other ideas what this could be?
