Data transfer MacBook Pro to MacBook Air

Will the old MacBook Pro files overwrite the same files which now have newer data on my MacBook Air using Migration Assistant?

Hi JC Radin,

Migration Assistant doesn't overwrite any files unless you explicitly ask it to.
