Volume up and down do not work on assistive touch when on home screen and the device is locked, the volume up and down buttons physically press work neither when locked when unlocked though they work like a charm, any fix? Common issue or just a bug?

Is your iPhone all up to date? Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
Does that persist after restarting your iPhone? Restart your iPhone
